FilmFestScout links a film to its FilmFreeway submissions by the title, and then by the director. When one side has no director, the link rests on the title only, so it can be another film with the same name. Decide each one once: Same film confirms it (and gives the film the FilmFreeway director and runtime if it has none), Different film hides it everywhere. A new FilmFreeway import never undoes a decision.

In FilmFestScout, "Suggest invite" sends this to the festival's programming team, who then invite the filmmaker. FilmFestScout never emails filmmakers.
