Welcome to the FilmFestScout demo

FilmFestScout helps a festival's scouts keep track of films they see at other festivals. In this demo you are a scout for the invented Riverbend Film Festival. Rosa, Theo and Priya are the other scouts; their ratings and notes are already here. Try:

1. At the top, On now, Coming up and Recent show the festival years that matter today; Festivals in the menu always brings you back here. Open Lakeside Film Festival 2026 under Recent. Press Mark seen on a film, give it stars and write a note. It saves at once.
2. Look at a card the team has rated: their stars and notes are under yours. Flag follow-up marks a film to talk about.
3. Use the filters at the top of a festival year: Not seen, Follow-up, Official Selection.
4. Press Filmmaker contact form on a card: a full-screen form for a filmmaker to type their contact details on your phone. To close it, press and hold the button at the bottom for 2 seconds.
5. Press Suggest invite on a film that has not submitted to Riverbend. In the demo, you see the email the festival team would get; nothing is sent.
6. Open a film's title to see where else it played and its FilmFreeway history with Riverbend.
7. Look at the admin pages in the menu (Invites, FilmFreeway, Matches, People, Team): what a festival admin sees. In the demo they are an example only; nothing there can be changed.

You do not need an account. Start over (top right) gives you a fresh demo.

Use FilmFestScout for your festival

The real FilmFestScout is invite-only: each festival has its own team, and nobody outside the team sees its ratings, notes or contacts. To get a team for your festival:

1. Go to filmfestscout.org/request-team. Type your name, your email address and your festival.
2. We email you a 6-digit code. Type it on the page to send your request.
3. A FilmFestScout administrator checks the request. When it is approved, you get an invite email, and you are the admin of your festival's team.
4. Sign in with your email address (we send a code each time; there is no password), then add your scouts on the People page.
